While on a holiday with dear friends in the central coast town of Cambria, California, we drove in quest of wine tasting in the beautiful Paso Robles region. Route 46 into Paso Robles is a spectacular road with open and mountainous vistas where both vineyards and sea views are enjoyed. The hills were aglow in rich velvet greens, a stark contrast to our current state in the fourth year of a terrible drought. The multi-layered mountains seemed to go into infinity as the thick, wet, lush grasses flourished. Eucalyptus and oak kiss white, puffy, cumulous clouds with a periwinkle, cool, crisp sky.
